Basketball Recap: La Center Comes Up Short

La Center was the 92-61 winner over Columbia when they last played one another on January 7th, but their luck changed this time around. The La Center Wildcats received a blow on Friday as they fell 71-57 to the Columbia Bruins. The Wildcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

La Center's defeat dropped their record down to 9-7. As for Columbia, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 8-6.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. La Center will head out to square off against Stevenson at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. La Center is facing Stevenson at the right time seeing as Stevenson is stuck on a seven-game losing streak. As for Columbia, they will head out on the road to face off against Seton Catholic at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Seton Catholic will roll in looking for their eighth straight win, something Columbia surely won't give up without a fight.
