Baseball Recap: Perry Central Takes a Loss

Perry Central managed to slip by Tell City the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Commodores came up short against the Marksmen on Friday, falling 7-1. The Commodores just can't catch a break and have now endured three defeats in a row.

Perry Central saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Brayden Shearn, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base. Zac Mitchell also deserves some recognition as he brought in his first RBI of the season.

Perry Central's record now sits at 1-3. As for Tell City, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.

Coincidentally, Perry Central and Tell City will both be playing North Posey the next time they take the field. The Marksmen will host the Vikings at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, while the Commodores will play them later in the day, at 2:00 p.m.
