After having lost a blowout in their  previous game against Holt, North Point was happy to have turned things around  on Thursday. They were the clear victors by  a  3-0 margin over the Fort Zumwalt South Bulldogs. That looming  3-0 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Grizzlies yet this  season.
 North Point never let Fort Zumwalt South on the board, but things got pretty close in the third set. The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-19,  25-23.
 Leading North Point to victory were  Miley Poeling and  Emma Shryock.  Poeling  had 12  digs and two  aces, while  Shryock  had four  digs and two  aces. What's more,  Shryock posted two  assists, the most she's  had since back in October of 2024.  Libbie Meek also deserves some recognition as  she  had her first  kill of the season.
North Point's win bumped their record up to 7-2. As for Fort Zumwalt South,  this is the second loss in a row for them and  nudges their season record down to 1-3.
 Looking ahead, North Point will be playing at home against Troy-Buchanan  at 5:00  p.m.  on Monday. As for Fort Zumwalt South, they are taking a road trip to  square off against Fort Zumwalt North  at 5:00  p.m.  on Tuesday.
