Corner Canyon took care of business in their home opener (and then some) on Wednesday. They blew past the Pleasant Grove Vikings 3-0. This was payback for the Chargers, who suffered a 3-1 defeat the last time these two teams met.

While Corner Canyon won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-22, 25-18.

Corner Canyon found their leader in sophomore Torri Hildebrandt, who had 12 digs and one assist.

Looking ahead, Corner Canyon is taking a road trip to square off against Westlake at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Pleasant Grove, they will take on Faith Lutheran at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
