Bloomfield Hills took care of business in their home opener on Thursday. They came out on top against the Seaholm Maples by a score of 2-0. The win continues a trend for the Black Hawks in their matchups with the Maples: they've now won six in a row.

The 2-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Bloomfield Hills was: they took both sets by at least 11 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-7, 25-14.

Kayla Nwabueze paced Bloomfield Hills' offense, picking up 11 kills. Nwabueze got some help from Brynn Wilcox and her 18 assists. Wilcox also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Julia Colosimo, racking up two apiece.

Bloomfield Hills didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Fraser on the 21st. As for Seaholm, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 2-1 win against Stoney Creek/Rochester on the 21st.
