Mineral Point has gone a perfect 10-0 against Darlington recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Monday. The Pointers will look to defend their home field against the Redbirds at 4:30 p.m. Mineral Point will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.

The loss continues a trend for the Redbirds in their meetings with the Golden Eagles: they've now lost six in a row.

Mineral Point's win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 7-3. Those road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.8 runs on average over those games. As for Darlington, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-7.
