Kingsburg is 9-1 against Washington Union since March of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. Kingsburg will head out to square off against Washington Union at 6:00 p.m. Neither of those teams managed to put together many runs in their previous contests, so the offenses might be a little more motivated than usual.

Kingsburg fell victim to Clovis West and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They took a 5-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Golden Eagles. The matchup marked the first time this season in which the Vikings were not able to get on the board.

Travis Clifton was a force to be reckoned with on the mound despite the final result: he struck out eight batters over five innings while giving up just two earned (and three unearned) runs off five hits.

At the plate, Kingsburg saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jensen Hirschkorn, who went 1-for-3 with one double.

Meanwhile, Washington Union came up short against St. Joseph on Saturday and fell 6-1. The loss was the Panthers' first of the season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Washington Union fell to 9-1. As for Kingsburg, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-3.

Kingsburg took their win against Washington Union when the teams last played back in April of 2024 by a conclusive 8-2. The rematch might be a little tougher for Kingsburg since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
