Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Nazarene Christian Academy walked away with it. They walked away with  an   8-5  victory over the First Baptist Saints  on Thursday. The  win was familiar territory for the Lions, who have now won ten  contests in a row.
 Gracyn Whitsell was a  major factor no matter where she played. On the mound, she  didn't allow a single  earned run while striking out 15 over seven innings pitched. She has been consistent for a while: she hasn't  tossed less than nine  strikeouts in ten consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate,  going 1-for-2 with two  runs and one  double.
 In other batting news,  the team  relied heavily on  Madison Glendenning, who  went 3-for-4 with three  runs, three  doubles,  and one  RBI. Those  three  runs gave  her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was  Gracie Clayton, who  went 3-for-4 with three  RBI, one  run,  and one  double.
 Nazarene Christian Academy  kept the outfield on their toes and  finished the game with 13  hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  got at least eight  hits in 11 consecutive  matchups.
Nazarene Christian Academy's record is now 13-3. As for First Baptist,  this is the second loss in a row for them and  nudges their season record down to 13-2.
