Football Game Preview: Clinton Dark Horses vs. South Lenoir Blue Devils + How To Watch

The Clinton Dark Horses will face off against the South Lenoir Blue Devils at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Clinton will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more points each contest than the last.

Clinton is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They took a 50-45 hit to the loss column at the hands of Pender on Friday. The Dark Horses were up 38-24 in the second quarter but couldn't hold on to the lead.

The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was Miles McCallop, who threw for 250 yards and five TDs while picking up 10.9 yards per attempt. Zaire Strickland was McCallop's top target, picking up 124 receiving yards and one score.

Meanwhile, South Lenoir came up short against Heide Trask on Friday, falling 30-6. The Blue Devils have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Clinton's loss dropped their record down to 2-4. As for South Lenoir, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-3.
