Baseball Recap: Sebastopol Victorious

While Sebastopol's win against Nanih Waiya wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Sebastopol Bobcats won by a run and slipped past the Nanih Waiya Warriors 7-6. The Bobcats haven't had any issues with the Warriors recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Noah Atkinson tossed a big game, pitching 4.2 innings while giving up three earned runs off only one hit. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in strikeouts (five).

On the hitting side, Luke McGarrity was incredible, scoring two runs and stealing Three bases. while going 2-for-3. That's the most hits he has posted since back in March of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Connally Gaddis, who scored two runs and stole a base.

Sebastopol pushed their record up to 4-1 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. As for Nanih Waiya, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-3.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Sebastopol beat Nanih Waiya by a score of 12-0 on Friday.
