Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Sunbright). They claimed a resounding 75-33 win over the Jellico Blue Devils. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Tigers considering their 23-point performance the matchup before.

Jellico lost on Tuesday despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Sophia Lay, who posted nine points and six boards. The dominant performance gave her a new career-high in points. Another player making a difference was Kendall Osborn, who earned ten points and five rebounds.

Sunbright's victory bumped their record up to 17-8. As for Jellico, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-22.

When Sunbright and Jellico next hit the court, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. Sunbright will try to stop Wartburg Central's three-game winning streak when the meet at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Similarly, Jellico will take on Clay County and their three-game winning streak at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
