Basketball Game Preview: Loveland Red Wolves vs. Erie Tigers

The Loveland Red Wolves will square off against the Erie Tigers at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. One thing working in Loveland's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last four games.

Loveland will head into Tuesday's matchup on the come-up: they were handed a heart-breaking three-point defeat in their last contest, but they sure didn't let that happen against Greeley West on Tuesday. Everything went Loveland's way against Greeley West as Loveland made off with an 81-56 victory. The Red Wolves have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six games by 25 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, Erie came up short against Mead on Tuesday and fell 58-49.

Erie's loss dropped their record down to 7-5. As for Loveland, their win bumped their record up to 11-3.

Loveland skirted past Erie 63-60 in their previous matchup back in January of 2024. Does Loveland have another victory up their sleeve, or will Erie turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
