Volleyball Recap: Hamilton Picks Up Seventh Straight Win at Home

Hamilton hadn't done well against La Sierra Academy recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Wednesday. The Bobcats blew past the Knights 3-0. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 two weeks ago.

The victory didn't come easy: La Sierra Academy scored at least 21 points in every set. The final score came out to 25-22, 25-21, 25-22.

Evalina Hernandez paced Hamilton's offense, picking up nine kills. Hernandez got some help from Danica Saul and her 14 assists. Laura Palma Vega controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Hamilton's win was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 19-7. As for La Sierra Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-11.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Hamilton will welcome Cornerstone Christian at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for La Sierra Academy, they will be playing at home against United Christian Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
