Cypress Lakes waltzed into their contest on Saturday with five straight wins... but they left with six. Everything went their way against the Langham Creek Lobos as they made off with a 55-35 victory. This was a revenge game for the Spartans: when they faced off against the Lobos back in January, they had to take a 54-42 defeat.

Cypress Lakes pushed their record up to 18-12 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.8 points per game. As for Langham Creek, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost 12 of their last 14 games, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-21 record this season.

Cypress Lakes and Langham Creek could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Texas Rankings. Cypress Lakes will challenge Cypress Springs at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday down 225 places (325 vs. 100).
