Norwood's game on Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. Everything went their way against the Ouray Trojans as they made off with a 3-0 win. This was a revenge game for the Mavericks: when they faced off against the Trojans back in September, they had to take a 3-0 loss.

Norwood's got stronger as the match went on, holding Ouray to fewer and fewer points set over set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-18, 25-3.

Norwood has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-10 record this season. As for Ouray, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-9.

Norwood didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against Dolores on the 4th. As for Ouray, they will face off against Telluride at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
