Softball Recap: Hanceville Comes Up Short

Hanceville and Locust Fork squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Hanceville had to settle for second. They came up short against the Hornets, falling 11-0. The Bulldogs have struggled against the Hornets recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive lost meeting.

Hanceville's loss dropped their record down to 14-17-1. As for Locust Fork, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-8 record this season.

Hanceville didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 10-4 win against Vinemont on the 29th. Locust Fork does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
