Newman won against Benjamin Franklin on Tuesday with 19 runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Wednesday. The Greenies blew past the St. Mary's Academy Cougars 19-2. Winning may never get old, but the Greenies sure are getting used to it with their sixth in a row.

Alyse Dulitz was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, two triples, and five RBI. Those two triples gave her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Maryn Huber, who scored two runs and stole three bases while going 3-for-4.

Newman hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. The team has now struck out at least five batters in nine consecutive matchups.

Newman pushed their record up to 12-7 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road. Those road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 17.8 runs over those games. As for St. Mary's Academy, their defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 7-5-1.
