Volleyball Recap: St. Mary's Comes Up Short + How To Watch

St. Mary suffered their biggest loss since August 26th on Tuesday. They lost 3-0 to the Lamar Thunder. The Pirates haven't had much luck with the Thunder recently, as the team has come up short the last seven times they've met.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-20, 25-13.

Anna Collins paced St. Mary's offense, picking up five kills. Collins got some help from Abby Phillips and her 14 assists. Julia Clieves and Julia Lucero kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with two aces apiece.

St. Mary's defeat dropped their record down to 5-5. As for Lamar, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 5-2.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. St. Mary's is set to square off against their familiar foe Colorado Springs Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Lamar will face off against rival Salida at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday.
