South Laurel entered their tilt with Campbell County on Saturday with 13 consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with 14. They walked away with a 54-46 win over the Campbell County Camels.

Leading South Laurel to victory were Jamie Buenaventura and Skeeter Mabe. Buenaventura went 8 of 13 to rack up 18 points and eight rebounds, while Mabe went 5 for 10 on her way to 18 points and five assists. The dominant performance gave Mabe a new career-high in points. Maci Messer was another key player, going 5 of 11 en route to 12 points.

South Laurel pushed their record up to 19-4 with the victory, which was their ninth straight on the road. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 55.3 points over those games. As for Campbell County, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 15-8.
