Volleyball Recap: Monroe Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Monroe lost against Lake Stevens back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Bearcats came up short against the Vikings, falling 3-0. The Bearcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

The final score came out to 25-18, 25-13, 25-20.

Lake Stevens can attribute much of their success to Katya Vladyko, who had four digs and four aces.

Monroe's loss dropped their record down to 11-4. As for Lake Stevens, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 24-3.

Monroe and Lake Stevens should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Washington Rankings. The Bearcats will square off against Marysville Getchell at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday with a big rank advantage (58 vs. 292). Meanwhile, Lake Stevens (ranked third) will meet Mariner (ranked 306th) at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
