Basketball Game Preview: Hidden Valley Titans vs. Patrick Henry Patriots

Hidden Valley is 0-10 against Patrick Henry since December of 2018 but things could change on Monday. The Hidden Valley Titans will be playing in front of their home fans against the Patrick Henry Patriots at 7:00 p.m.

Hidden Valley will head into Wednesday's game out to bounce back: they won a close one the last time they played, but unfortunately they suffered a serious change of fortune on Wednesday. They lost 76-52 to Salem. While losing is never fun, the Titans can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Virginia basketball rankings (they are ranked 169th, while the Spartans are ranked 33rd).

Meanwhile, Patrick Henry had already won five in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 26.4 points) and they went ahead and made it six on Friday. They came out on top against the Cougars by a score of 55-46.

Patrick Henry pushed their record up to 13-3 with the victory, which was their seventh straight on the road. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 65.7 points per game. As for Hidden Valley, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-9.

Hidden Valley was dealt a bruising 68-31 loss at the hands of Patrick Henry in their previous meeting back in January of 2024. Can Hidden Valley avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
