Soccer Game Preview: Brawley vs. Imperial

A feisty cat fight will be fought when the Brawley challenge the Imperial at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday... Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Brawley is headed in fresh off scoring the most goals they have all season. They never let Yuma onto the board and left with a 6-0 win on Thursday. Considering the Wildcats have won five games by more than two goals this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Imperial, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They skirted past Vincent Memorial 1-0.

Imperial has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 10-3-5 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 25 goals over those six matches. As for Brawley, their victory bumped their record up to 8-5-2.

Brawley beat Imperial 4-2 in their previous matchup back in February of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for Brawley since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
