Volleyball Recap: Tarpon Springs Takes a Loss + How To Watch

If Tarpon Springs was feeling good fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Gulf on Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Spongers lost 3-0 to the East Lake Eagles on Thursday. The Spongers haven't had much luck with the Eagles recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-5, 25-19, 25-19.

Tarpon Springs' loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for East Lake, they pushed their record up to 2-0 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Tarpon Springs will challenge Seminole at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. After both having extra time off, East Lake and Sunlake will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
