Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Mount Tabor). They put the hurt on the Oak Grove Grizzlies with a sharp 14-4 victory on Wednesday. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Spartans as it put an end to their four-game losing streak.
James Price made a big impact no matter where he played. He tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. That's the fewest hits he has allowed since back in April of 2024. He was also big at the plate, scoring a run while going 1-for-4.
