It was a good run, but Hialeah unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Friday. They were dealt a 70-38 loss at the hands of the Northwestern Bulls. The matchup marked the Thoroughbreds' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Northwestern's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Jayden Navarrete, who went 7 for 16 en route to 19 points. Jamiro Smith was another key player, going 5 of 12 on his way to 15 points and four steals.

Hialeah's defeat dropped their record down to 10-8. As for Northwestern, the win (which was their tenth in a row) raised their record to 20-3.

Hialeah will square off against American on Monday. One thing working in American's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last six games. Northwestern does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
