Baseball Game Preview: Elgin Wildcats vs. Georgetown Eagles

For the second straight game, Elgin will face off against Georgetown. The Wildcats will host the Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Elgin has now lost ten straight, leaving the team hunting for their first win since February 28.

Elgin might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 13-2 to Georgetown, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior.

Georgetown's victory was their tenth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 19-3. The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.0 runs on average over those games. As for Elgin, their loss dropped their record down to 4-15.
