Mt. Pleasant came into Thursday's match having lost 12 straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. Their defense stepped up to hand the James Lick Comets a 42-0 shutout on Thursday. The Cardinals' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.
