Volleyball Recap: Deep Creek Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Deep Creek was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the Western Branch Bruins. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bruins this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-1 back in September.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-16, 25-16.

Among those leading the charge was Nate Brownfield, who had two blocks and two aces.

Deep Creek's loss dropped their record down to 5-14. As for Western Branch, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 13-3.

Deep Creek wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-0 defeat against Nansemond River on the 16th. As for Western Branch, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 win against King's Fork on the 16th.
