Basketball Recap: Fort Jennings Takes a Loss

Fort Jennings lost against Ottoville back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Fort Jennings Musketeers were beaten by the Ottoville Big Green 74-39. While losing is never fun, the Musketeers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 483rd, while the Big Green are ranked 50th).

Fort Jennings has been struggling recently as they've lost nine of their last 12 matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-11 record this season. As for Ottoville, their victory bumped their record up to 15-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Fort Jennings will face off against Allen East at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday. Allen East will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Fort Jennings surely won't give up without a fight. Ottoville has already played their next contest (against Jefferson), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
