Gilbert Classical Academy had lost 12 straight at home dating back to last season, but on Monday they dropped their record down to 1-12 to make it 13. They came up short against Leading Edge Academy - GEC, falling 40-18. Even though they lost, Gilbert Classical Academy's still made a splash at the plate and bumped their average scoring up to 6.6 runs per game (they're now ranked -1th in scoring overall).

Aspen Guymon made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and got on base in all five of her plate appearances with one home run, four runs, and three RBI. She is also on a roll when it comes to hits, as she's now got three or more in each of the last three games she's played. Another player making a difference was Maddie Voiles, who got on base in all five of her plate appearances with three runs and two RBI.

As for Leading Edge Academy - GEC, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-9. That looming 40-18 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for them yet this season.

On Leading Edge Academy - GEC's side, they got a massive performance out of Corynn Foster, who went 4-for-6 with four stolen bases, six runs, and six RBI. Those six runs gave Foster a new career-high. Katelyn Clark was another key player, going 4-for-6 with four stolen bases, four runs, and three RBI.

As of now, neither Gilbert Classical Academy nor Leading Edge Academy - GEC have any future games scheduled.
