Basketball Game Preview: Lakeview Honkers vs. North Lake Cowboys

The Lakeview Honkers will take on the North Lake Cowboys at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.

Lakeview managed to keep up with Modoc until halftime on Tuesday, but things quickly went downhill from there. Lakeview lost 52-26 to Modoc. The Honkers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, North Lake is still undefeated this season after their match against Umpqua Valley Christian on Tuesday, but Umpqua Valley Christian came as close as anyone has to beating them. North Lake narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past Umpqua Valley Christian 43-41.

Lakeview now has a losing record at 1-2. As for North Lake, their win was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 4-0.
