Soccer Recap: Eugene Has No Trouble Against Sacred Heart

Eugene barely beat Sacred Heart the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Eagles blew past the Gremlins 7-1 on Monday. That's two games straight that Eugene have won by exactly six goals.

The victory made it two in a row for Eugene and bumps their season record up to 12-6-1. Those wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 14 goals over those two contests. As for Sacred Heart, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-8.

Eugene wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next game, a 2-1 loss against Mexico on the 29th. As for Sacred Heart, they will face off against Marshall at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
