Manteo kept a clean sheet against Hertford County on Thursday. They put the hurt on the Bears with a sharp 10-0 victory. Considering Manteo have won eight matches by more than two goals this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Their offense was hitting Hertford County from everywhere, as six different players booted in a goal. Jordan Cobb led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for three goals all by herself.

The win made it two in a row for Manteo and bumps their season record up to 8-4. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up zero goals over those two contests. As for Hertford County, they dropped their record down to 0-5 with the loss, which was their fourth straight at home.

Coincidentally, Manteo and Hertford County will both be playing Holmes the next time they take the pitch. The Bears will head out to face the Aces at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, while the Redskins will head out to face them at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
