Baseball Recap: Panorama Takes a Loss

Panorama extended their losing streak to three on Wednesday, dropping them down to 3-10. They came up short against the Sherman Oaks CES Knights, falling 15-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Knights this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 18-2 back in March.

As for Sherman Oaks CES, they pushed their record up to 18-1 with the win, which was their 20th straight at home dating back to last season. Considering they have won 16 games by more than five runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

For Sherman Oaks CES' part, Nicholas Bilicic and Garrett Arch made a splash no matter where they played. On the mound, Bilicic tossed one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. Meanwhile, Arch tossed one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. Bilicic has been consistent for a while: he hasn't given up more than two hits in 11 consecutive appearances. At bat, Bilicic got on base in two of his four plate appearances with two runs and one stolen base, while Arch went 1-for-3 with two RBI and one run. Those two RBI gave Arch a new career-high.

In other batting news, Colin Hauser was excellent, going 3-for-4 with two stolen bases, two RBI, and one run. He is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last nine games he's played. Sebastian Hamilton was another key player, going 1-for-2 with two runs, one double, and one RBI.
