MaxPreps regional high school football computer rankings: West region

Bingham moves into top 10; Utah has three teams in top 17.

The top five teams in the MaxPreps west region football computer rankings remained the same last week, but Bingham moved into the top 10 this week with a playoff win.

Bingham jumped from No. 14 to No. 9 with a 37-14 second-round win over Lehi in the Class 5A state playoffs. Lone Peak, meanwhile, moved up to No. 17 to give Utah three teams in the top 17. East is No. 14.

The regional rankings are based on the MaxPreps National Football Computer Rankings, presented by the Army National Guard. The West region consists of teams from Hawaii, Alaska, Colorado, Wyoming, California, Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Montana and Utah.
