Baseball Recap: Thunder Ridge Snaps Ten-Game Streak of Losses on the Road

The third road match was the charm for Thunder Ridge, as they earned their first away win of the season. They put the hurt on the Canyon Ridge Riverhawks with a sharp 14-7 victory on Wednesday. With that win, the Titans brought their scoring average up to 6.8 runs per game.

Easton Carling was incredible, going a perfect 4-for-4 with four RBI, two runs, and one double. He has become a key player for Thunder Ridge: the team is undefeated when he posts at least three hits, but 1-5 otherwise. The team also got some help courtesy of Jacob Overson, who went 2-for-5 with four RBI and one triple.

Thunder Ridge always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .523. They are a perfect 3-0 when they post an OBP of .513 or better.
