Baseball Recap: North Surry Comes Up Short

North Surry couldn't beat Forbush on Thursday even though they stacked eight runs on them in the sixth inning. The Greyhounds fell just short of the Falcons by a score of 13-12. Surprisingly, this marked the Greyhounds' third straight game in which the away team has come away the victor.

North Surry's defeat dropped their record down to 15-9. As for Forbush, they have been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine games. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-9 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. North Surry will host McMichael at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Forbush, they will challenge Reidsville at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
