Saraland faced Bob Jones in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Spartans fell 2-0 to the Patriots. The Spartans' defeat signaled the end of their 15-game winning streak.

Charli Pearce paced Saraland's offense, picking up 11 kills. Pearce really made an impact as she also led the team in assists with 12. She also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Taniyah Smith, racking up four apiece.
