Gibson Southern was sadly handed a loss on Thursday, but Cam Novotny did his best to prevent it. Novotny went 5 for 9 en route to 15 points and five boards, good enough to set a new career-high in rebounds in the process.

Looking ahead, Novotny and Gibson Southern will challenge Castle at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Novotny will face off against Xander Niehaus, the Knights' star shooting guard.
