Football Recap: Matawan Regional Comes Up Short

Matawan Regional lost against Red Bank Regional back in October of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Huskies fell 27-18 to the Bucs.

Although Matawan Regional took the loss, they still got scores from Daamir Darby, Erik Martinez, and Alexander Liss.

Matawan Regional's loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Red Bank Regional, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Matawan Regional will square off against Colts Neck at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Red Bank Regional, they will host Shore Regional at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
