Basketball Recap: Church Farm's Luck Takes a Turn for the Worse on Tuesday

After flying high against Faith Christian Academy last Friday, Church Farm came back down to earth. The Church Farm Griffens took a hard 52-38 fall against the Linville Hill Warriors on Tuesday. The contest marked the Griffens' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Linville Hill's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Giovanni Sejuste, who dropped a double-double on 22 points and 12 boards. That's the most points Sejuste has posted since back in March of 2024. Another player making a difference was Drew Tibbins, who posted 11 points in addition to seven assists and six rebounds.

Church Farm moved to 6-4 with that defeat, which also ended their three-game winning streak. As for Linville Hill, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 13-1.

Church Farm will venture away from home to challenge Bristol at 7:00 p.m. on January 29th. Bristol will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something Church Farm surely won't give up without a fight. Linville Hill has already played their next game, a 64-56 win against Lancaster Country Day on the 23rd.
