Football Recap: Channelview Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Channelview extended their losing streak to four on Saturday, dropping them down to 1-5. They were beaten by the Kingwood Mustangs 61-21. The Falcons were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 34-0.

As for Kingwood, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 4-2 record this season. The contest marked their most dominant victory of the season so far.

Ricky Shorts was nothing short of spectacular: he rushed for 164 yards and a pair of scores on only 13 carries. His longest rush was for an incredible 98 yards. Another player making a difference was Landon Hinson, who threw for 212 yards and three TDs.

Coming up, Channelview will be playing at home against North Shore at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Kingwood, they will square off against Atascocita at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Mustangs will need to watch out since the Eagles have now posted at least 31 points in their last three matchups.
