Softball Preview: Capistrano Valley Cougars vs. Edison Chargers

The Capistrano Valley Cougars will look to take advantage of their home field for the first time this season as they take on the Edison Chargers at 3:15 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.

Capistrano Valley's pitching crew heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Saturday. They blew past Troy 11-0. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Cougars.

Camille Titus made a splash while hitting and pitching. She pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs off three hits. Edison always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .548. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Laguna Hills only posted an OBP of .273.

Capistrano Valley now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Edison, the win got them back to even at 1-1.
