Softball Recap: Mogadore Picks Up 16th Straight Win at Home

With a playoff win on the line, Mogadore rose to the challenge on Monday. They never let the Lake Center Christian Tiger get on the board and left with a 7-0 victory. The result was nothing new for the Wildcats, who have now won ten matches by seven runs or more so far this season.

Mogadore pushed their record up to 15-1 with the win, which was their 16th straight at home dating back to last season. The home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.8 runs on average this season. As for Lake Center Christian, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 12-11.

Looking ahead, Mogadore will be taking part in a tournament against McDonald at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Blue Devils will roll in looking for their ninth straight win, something the Wildcats surely won't give up without a fight. Lake Center Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
