Football Recap: Everett Takes a Loss

If Everett was riding high fresh off their 42-6 takedown of Lynn Classical last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Crimson Tide were outmatched by the Xaverian Brothers Hawks and fell 49-14. While losing is never fun, the Crimson Tide can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Massachusetts football rankings (they are ranked 54th, while the Hawks are ranked fourth).

Having lost for the first time this season, Everett fell to 2-1. As for Xaverian Brothers, their win bumped their record up to 2-0.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Everett will welcome Boston College High at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Xaverian Brothers, they will be playing at home against Central at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
