Soccer Recap: Brantley County Finds Home Pitch Redemption Against Treutlen

There's no place like home for Brantley County, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Saturday. They blew past the Treutlen Vikings 7-2 on Tuesday. The high-scoring effort was just what the Herons needed considering they were shutout in their previous game.

Their offense was hitting Treutlen from everywhere, as five different players booted in a goal. Addison Miller led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by herself.

The victory got Brantley County back to even at 3-3. As for Treutlen, they dropped their record down to 0-5 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Brantley County will head out to challenge Worth County at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Worth County is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 3.3 goals per game this season. As for Treutlen, they will head out on the road to face off against Dooly County at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Dooly County also hasn't been messing around on offense: they've averaged 3.5 goals per game.
