Basketball Recap: Mercer Takes a Loss

Mercer was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat. They took a 64-52 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Tri-County Mustangs. Unfortunately, that's the fourth time they've come up short against the Mustangs this season, with their most recent loss being a 62-43 defeat last Friday.

Mercer's loss dropped their record down to 3-14. As for Tri-County, their win bumped their record up to 8-9.

Coming up, Mercer will face off against Trenton at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Tri-County, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 49-40 defeat against Grundy County/Newtown-Harris on the 14th.
