Brighton. The rematch, however, was a total reversal. Grand Junction suffered a painful 36 - 7 defeat to Brighton last week.

The win bumped Brighton's record up to 5-2. The defeat brought Grand Junction down to 1-6. It is on an unfortunate six-game losing streak.
Both Grand Junction and Brighton will be guarding their home fields in their upcoming games. Grand Junction will face off against Loveland Thursday at 6:00 PM. After another low point total this last game, Grand Junction has fallen into a real scoring funk its past three games; hopefully the team can find some way to reach the endzone more consistently. Meanwhile, Brighton will battle it out against Greeley West on Friday at 7:00 PM. This meeting makes it back-to-back home games for Brighton.
