Softball Recap: Aberdeen Takes a Loss

Aberdeen was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their 13th straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 17-1 to the Fallston Cougars. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Cougars this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 22-0 on Wednesday.

Aberdeen's defeat dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Fallston, the victory was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 11-1.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Aberdeen is set to challenge their familiar foe Elkton at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Fallston will square off against rival Patterson Mill at 3:30 p.m. on Monday. The Cougars are on a three-game streak of home wins, Patterson Mill a five-game streak of away wins, meaning someone's leaving a streak behind.
