Basketball Recap: Clyde Comes Up Short

Clyde lost to Port Clinton back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Fliers fell 68-64 to the Redskins. The Fliers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Clyde's loss dropped their record down to 9-12. As for Port Clinton, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-7 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Clyde won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Columbian at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The Fliers will need to watch out since the Tornadoes have now posted at least 55 points in their last four games. As for Port Clinton, they will take on Otsego in a tournament on Thursday.
